The Larry L. Thomas Memorial Golf Tournament was established to honor the life, legacy, and service of Larry L. Thomas—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, community servant, and lifelong member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Larry exemplified leadership, faith, and generosity throughout his life, dedicating his time and talents to education, technology, mentorship, and charitable service. His passion for uplifting others, particularly young people pursuing higher education, inspired the creation of this annual tournament as a living tribute to his enduring impact on the community.
Now in its 5th Annual Tournament, this event continues Larry’s legacy of giving by investing in the future of local youth. Proceeds from the tournament directly fund scholarships for high school seniors in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, helping deserving students take the next step toward college and career success. Through fellowship, friendly competition, and community partnership, the Larry L. Thomas Memorial Golf Tournament stands as a celebration of remembrance, service, and opportunity for generations to come.
